ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A centralizing tool for centralizing a coiled tubing string as it descends through a well casing towards a permanent packer element within the well bore casing consisting of spaced apart upper and lower pipe sections with a plurality of cen- tralizing vanes extending radially thereof and between the two pipe sections. The engagement of the outer vertical edges of the vanes with the casing centralizes the bores of the pipe sections. The tool is engaged upon the lower end of the coiled tubing string and retracted by a collar secured to the lower end below the tool. A shear pin then engages through the lower pipe section and the coiled tubing. The tool guides the lower end of the coiled tubing string into the bore of the packer element from which the plug has been removed, as the tool engages the upper side of the element. As the tool is too large to pass through the packer element, downward pres- sure upon the tubing string shears the pin and allows the tubing string to run freely to the bottom of the hole. When the well treatment is completed, the coiled tubing string is retrieved with the collar engaging the tool and lifting the tool to the surface for re-use.
