ABSTRACT The invention relates to a drive axle for vehicles, in particular for power machines with adjustable wheel track, which can be characterized in that it has a combined head assembly containing a central wet-brake construction and e differential mechanism completed with mechanically engagable bundle of lamellae for limiting the differential mechanism spin out, which rotary brake discs (24) are connected with the exter- nal spline of the half-part (3b) of a differential case with one dividing plane and said half-pert is arranged opposite to the crown-gear (2), in the inner space of the half-part (3b) of said differential case, on the outer surface of the bottom plate supporting the . side gear (45) compression-springs (39) are seated, furtheron a pressure disc (37), a bundle of lamellae, supporting disc (38), a snap ring (40), a spacer (41) and a taper roller bearing (23) are also here arranged, whereas the externally splined lamellae (42) of the bundle of lamellae are engaged with the internal spline of the half-part (3b) of said differential case, while the lamellae (43) with the internal spline engage with the splined hub (44), while the face dogs of the latter one engage with the face; dogs of the sliding coupling sleeve (47) extending through the bore of the carrier (22) of the taper roller bearing (23) with the intervention of centralizing ring (46) the sliding coupling sleeve (47) can be moved on the spline of the inner half-shaft (4) by means of the coupling fork (50) which is rotating on the pin (49) which is supported in the carrier (48) having been fixed to the lateral face of the center housing (10), furtheron, stationary discs (25) of said central brake construction are connected torque-proof but loosely to the brake-house (26) having been fixed to the lateral face of the center housing (10), and in the annular inner space of the brake-house (26) the brake piston (27) and in the bearing bracket-extension the cylindrical roller bearing (29) of the pinion bevel gear (1) are arranged, furtheron, between the carriers (6a, 6b) of the planetary mechanismes having been arrang- ed next to the combined head assembly and the output- shaft (14) a splined sleeve (13) is inserted, while the external spline thereof are engaged with the carrier (6a, 6b) of the planetary mechanism and the internal spline thereof engage with the output-shaft (14).
