A centralized wireless communication system for a host device having a host processor and one or more host wireless communication modules includes a controller, one or more antenna elements, and an RF multiplexer coupled to the one or more antenna elements. The RF multiplexer includes one or more ports and is configured to establish an RF communication path between one or more ports and one or more antenna elements based on instructions from the controller. The centralized wireless communication system can provide adaptive noise cancellation and/or operate antenna elements as part of an active phased array.
L'invention concerne un système centralisé de communications sans fil destiné à un dispositif hôte possédant un processeur hôte et au moins un module hôte de communications sans fil, qui comporte un contrôleur, au moins un élément d'antenne et un multiplexeur HF relié à ces éléments d'antennes. Le multiplexeur HF, qui comporte au moins un port, est configuré pour établir une voie de communications HF entre au moins un port et au moins un élément d'antenne sur la base d'ordres provenant du contrôleur. Le système centralisé de communications sans fil peut appliquer une annulation adaptative de bruit et/ou faire fonctionner les éléments d'antennes comme partie d'un réseau actif à commande de phase.
