ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION There is disclosed a gas turbine having an air compressor at its input and followed by a gas diffuser and primary and secondary combustion chambers; the primary combustion chamber has a rotating inner wall driven by vanes at the output of the secondary combustion chamber; these vanes also drive the compressor at a higher speed through a gear train; the gas diffuser directs air into the primary combustion chamber and also directly into the secondary combustion chamber by means of a rotating nozzle; a turbine output wheel is driven by the exhaust of the turbine. Rotation of the inner wall of the primary combustion chamber provides more efficient combustion due to improved fuel atomization and a more homogenous fuel-air mixture than in known turbines. In addition, the provision of a secondary combustion chamber, which is heated by the exhaust gases of the primary combustion chamber, increases combustion in the secondary chamber and, thus, improves the overall efficiency of the turbine.
