A centrifugal pump comprises an impeller (2a and 2b) which is rototable about an axis (X-X) inside a static volute (1). The pump is further provided with a sealing means (11). The sealing means (11) reduces or substantially eliminates the clearance between the surface of the suction side of the impeller (2a) and the static volute (1). The sealing means are axially adjustable.

Cette pompe centrifuge comprend une hélice (2a et 2b) qui peut tourner autour d'un axe (X-X) à l'intérieur d'une volute fixe (1). Cette pompe est en outre pourvue d'un joint étanche (11). Ce joint d'étanchéité (11) a pour fonction de réduire ou carrément d'éliminer l'espace libre entre la surface du côté aspiration de l'hélice (2a) et la volute fixe (1). Ce joint d'étanchéité est réglable axialement.
