NHL-SAC-55 CA CENTRIFUGAL THROWER APPARATUS ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A centrifugal thrower apparatus, which may be used on swivelloaders, swivelpilers, box car loaders, pilers, ship trimmers and the like, capable of maintaining a substantially constant belt tension over a wide range of angles of discharge. Preferably, a cam is provided to continually adjust the distance between the two sets of pulleys on which the belt is mounted, such that constant or substantially constant belt tension is maintained for different angles of discharge.
