ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION This invention relates to a centrifuge rotor of the swinging bucket type characterized in that the trunnion-receiving bores provided into the arms at the radial outward end thereof are arranged such that the axis of the bore provided into one surface of the arm lies above a horizontal place through the arm and the axis of the bore provided on the other surface the arm lies below the arm and that the bores provided in confronting surfaces of adjacent arms lie on the same side of the horizontal plane.
