ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Disclosed are optically active or inactive acylated cephalosporin analogs which are useful as anti- bacterial agents of the general formula: Image (I) wherein X represents an acyl group, R1 represents a hydrogen, a lower alkyl group or a lower acyl group and R2 represents a hydrogen or a protective group of carbon- ylic acid and the pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof.
