ABSTRACT: "CEPHALOSPORIN DERIVATIVES, A PROCESS FOR THEIR PREPARATION AND COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING THEM" Compounds of formula (I): Image (I) wherein: R1 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; and R2 represents a C1-C5 alkyl or alkoxy group; and pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts thereof are valuable antibiotics suitable for oral adminstration. They may be prepared by reacting a compound of formula (II): Image (II) (wherein X represents a halogen atom and R1 and R2 are as defined above) with thiourea.
