There is disclosed a ceramic filter formed with less membrane formation times and having a water permeation performance and a separation performance. There is also disclosed a regenerating method of the ceramic filter, capable of inexpensively regenerating the ceramic filter in a case where the filter deteriorates. A ceramic filter (10) includes a porous base member (11) formed of a ceramic porous body, a carbonaceous membrane (12) formed on the porous base member (11), and an inorganic separation membrane (e.g., a silica membrane (1)) formed on the carbonaceous membrane (12). As the inorganic separation membrane, instead of the silica membrane (1), a titania membrane, a zirconia membrane, a zeolite membrane or the like may be used. In a regenerating method of the ceramic filter (10), the deteriorated ceramic filter (10) is thermally treated to remove the carbonaceous membrane (12) and the silica membrane (1) from the porous base member (11), then the carbonaceous membrane (12) is formed on the porous base member (11), and the silica membrane (1) is formed on the carbonaceous membrane (12).

La présente invention concerne un filtre céramique demandant un moins grand nombre d'opérations de réalisation de la membrane et se distinguant par ses pouvoirs de perméation et de séparation. L'invention concerne également un procédé de régénération d'u filtre céramique permettant une régénération peu coûteuse du filtre céramique en cas de détérioration du filtre. Un tel filtre céramique (10) comprend un élément de base poreux (11) fait d'un corps poreux en céramique, une membrane carbonée (12) formée sur l'élément de base poreux (11), et une membrane de séparation inorganique telle qu'une membrane de silice (1) formée sur la membrane carbonée (12). Pour la membrane de séparation inorganique, on peut remplacer la membrane de silice (1) par une membrane de dioxyde de titane, une membrane de zircone, une membrane de zéolite, ou analogue. Le procédé de régénération du filtre de céramique (10) consiste à prendre le filtre de céramique détérioré (10) et à lui faire subir un traitement thermique pour supprimer la membrane carbonée (12) et la membrane de silice (1) de l'élément de base poreux (11), puis à former la membrane carbonée (12) sur l'élément de base poreux (12) et à former la membrane de silice (1) sur la membrane carbonée (12).
