ABSTRACT A ceramic greenware formulation is described including (a) a ceramic or cermet material; (b) a binder of poly(ethyloxazoline) and polyethylene glycol, such that the ratio of polyethylene glycol to poly(ethyloxazoline) is 1 to 3; and (c) a solvent. This slip formulation can be prepared by admixing the selected ceramic-containing material, the binder and solvent to form a slip, which can then be dried to form a ceramic greenware powder. The powder can then be pressed to form a ceramic greenware article.
