There are disclosed a ceramic porous membrane formed with less membrane formation times and having less defects, a small and uniform thickness and a high flux, and a ceramic filter. A silica membrane (1) is formed on a titania UF membrane (14) as an ultrafiltration membrane (a UF membrane) formed on a porous base member (11) which is a microfiltration membrane (also referred to as an MF membrane) and having an average pore diameter smaller than that of the porous base member (11), and the silica membrane has an average pore diameter smaller than that of the titania UF membrane (14), and does not substantially permeates the titania UF membrane.

L'invention concerne une membrane poreuse en céramique formée avec des temps de formation de membrane réduits et présentant moins de défauts, une épaisseur faible et uniforme et un flux élevé, ainsi qu'un filtre en céramique. Une membrane en silice (1) est formée sur une membrane UF au dioxyde de titane (14) qui est une membrane d'ultrafiltration (également appelée membrane UF) formée sur un élément de base poreux (11) qui est une membrane de microfiltration (membrane MF) et présente un diamètre de pore moyen inférieur à celui de l'élément de base poreux (11), la membrane en silice présentant un diamètre de pore moyen inférieur à celui de la membrane UF au dioxyde de titane (14) et ne s'infiltrant sensiblement pas dans la membrane UF au dioxyde de titane.
