ABSTRACT A support for holding the bones of the cervix stationary, in the form of a padded sleeve surrounding the patient's neck. The support is designed so as to provide individual immobilization in a limited area of the head, such as is frequently indicated, e.g. in the event of wear phenomena in the cervical region or for post-operative treatment. According to the invention, the front area of the cervical support is provided with a recess comprising a flexible frame. Spacers, which can be displaced along the recess, are disposed between the upper and lower elements of the flexible frame.
