The subject matter of the invention is a straw-cutting machine which is disposed behind the grain separating devices of a combine harvester and whose separating means cut up the stalks falling down from the straw walkers into short pieces. In this process, thanks to an innovative, special disposition of the generally conventional deflector which, under the straw walkers, deflects the stalks falling down from these to the cutter tray at the inlet into the cutter, the receiving of the stalks by the cutting drum is made more secure and, on the other hand, thanks to an innovative, special design of the distribution hood following the cutter, the ejection and the distribution of the chopped up stalks over the field soil is essentially improved over existing designs.
L'invention concerne un système à hacher la paille, placé derrière les dispositifs de séparation de grain d'une moissonneuse-batteuse et dont les éléments séparateurs coupent en petits morceaux la paille qui tombe des secoueurs. A cet effet, une nouvelle configuration particulière de la tôle de guidage, de manière générale traditionnelle, qui guide sous les secoueurs la paille qui en tombe, jusqu'à la plaque de base de hachage au niveau de l'entrée dans le système de hachage, permet de rendre la réception de la paille à travers le tambour de hachage plus fiable et comparativement aux autres systèmes du même type existants, d'améliorer sensiblement l'éjection et la répartition de la paille hachée sur la terre labourable grâce à une nouvelle configuration particulière du capot de répartition monté en aval du système de hachage.
