ABSTRACT The present invention relates to electrostatic dissipative impact modified polymeric compositions comprising an effective amount of a chain extended block copolymer, polyvinyl halide and no more than 10 weight parts of a polymeric impact modifier per 100 weight parts of polyvinyl chloride. The chain extended block copolymer is formed from reacting a di-functional polyether with a chain extender which is a condensate selected from the group consisting of polyundecanolactam, polydodecanolactam, poly(11- aminoundecanoic acid) and (12-aminododecanoic acid). The compounds further comprise a heat distortion modifier which does not interfere with ESD properties and is selected from the group consisting of styrene-acrylonitrile copolymer, alpha methyl styrene-styrene-acrylonitrile terpolymer, a polymer of alpha methyl styrene-styrene-N-cyclohexyl maleimide, N-phenylmaleimide, imidized polymethyl methacrylate, post-chlorinated polyvinyl chloride, styrene-maleic anhydride polymer, imidized styrene- maleic anhydride polymer, acrylic-imide copolymer, acrylonitrile- methylmethacrylate copolymer, acrylonitrile-acrylate- polybutadiene graft copolymer, alpha methyl styrene- methylmethacrylate- acrylonitrile terpolymer, alpha-methyl styrene-styrene-methylmethacrylate terpolymer, alpha methyl styrene-methylmethacrylate copolymer, alpha methyl styrene- acrylonitrile copolymer, alpha methyl styrene-methylmethacrylate graft copolymer on polyacrylate rubber, polycarbonate, and brominated polycarbonate.
