ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A chain handling device comprises an L-shaped leg, one end of which includes a chain link engaging portion having a pair of curved, diverging arms which meet to form a chain link engaging notch. The notch is adapted to engage a chain link and hold it in a plane perpendicular to that of the device.
