A method of controlling a train for a crew change and includes collecting information on the train including weight and length of the train, special weight distribution, number and location of cars with cut-out or inoperative brakes, status of dynamic brakes on all locomotives, if brake test is required, and prior train brake problems. The information is stored as a report (14) and displayed at a crew change. The train is disable until the crew has accepted the report (29).
L'invention concerne un procédé de commande de train, mis en oeuvre au moment d'un changement d'équipe de train, qui consiste à recueillir des informations relatives au train, à savoir: poids et longueur de train, répartition de poids spécifique, nombre et emplacement des wagons avec freins coupés ou non opérationnels, état des freins dynamiques sur toutes les locomotives, nécessité éventuelle d'un test de freinage, et problèmes de freinage rencontrés par l'équipe de train précédente. Les informations sont regroupées sous forme de rapport et affichées pour l'équipe montante. Le train est désactivé jusqu'à l'acceptation du rapport par cette équipe.
