An office chair (10) is provided- having a contoured back assembly (24) comprising a back frame (23) and a suspension fabric (26). The fabric is attached to the back frame through a spline (58) wherein the back frame has a three-dimensional contoured shape formed by overlapped frame rings with the fabric being joined thereto by a spline. The back frame has a split upright section to increase the ability of the left and right halves of the frame to articulate relative to each other. Further, a bayonet connection is provided between the back frame and a support upright which bayonet connection holds together the upper ends of two separate uprights of a tilt control mechanism.

L'invention porte sur un fauteuil de bureau doté d'une partie dossier présentant un ensemble dossier profilé comprenant un cadre de dossier et un tissu de support. Ce tissu est relié au cadre de dossier au moyen d'une languette, le cadre de dossier présentant une forme profilée tridimensionnelle formée d'anneaux de cadre se chevauchant, le tissu étant relié à ceux-ci au moyen d'une languette. Le cadre de siège est doté d'une section verticale à fente permettant d'améliorer la capacité de la moitié gauche et de la moitié droite du cadre afin de les articuler l'une par rapport à l'autre. De plus, une liaison baïonnette est disposée entre le dossier arrière et un montant de support, cette connexion baïonnette maintenant ensemble les extrémités supérieures de deux montants séparés d'un mécanisme de commande d'inclinaison.
