ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The specification discloses a synchrotilt chair control in which a heavily loaded toggel linkage or slide arrangement between the rear of the seat support member and the chair back support member is eliminated by pro- viding a slide and track arrangement between the front of the chair seat support and the front of the stationary housing. The front location is relatively lightly loaded as compared to the rear of a chair to which the control is mounted.
