A chair (10) having a receiving area (12) with a horizontal section and a generally parabolic section extending transverse to the horizontal section, and a plurality of separate legs (14, 16, 18) extending downwardly from the receiving area. Each of the legs (14, 16, 18) has a foot (20, 22, 24) extending horizontally outwardly therefrom. The receiving area (12) and the plurality of legs (14, 16, 18) are integrally formed together of a polymeric material. The horizontal section and the generally parabolic section have a cruciform configuration. Each of the legs (14, 16, 18) has a rectangular cross-section in a horizontal plane. The horizontal section of the receiving area (12) has a numerical indicia molded thereon which is indicative of a distance between a top of the horizontal section and a bottom of the foot (20, 22, 24). The foot (20, 22, 24) of one of the plurality of separate legs (14, 16, 18) has a top surface with a numerical indicia molded thereon. The numerical indicia on the horizontal section of the receiving area is oriented in a different direction than the numerical indicia on the foot (20, 22, 24).
L'invention porte sur une chaise (10) comportant une zone de réception (12) de section horizontale et une section généralement parabolique s'étendant transversalement à la section horizontale, et une pluralité de pieds séparés (14, 16, 18) s'étendant vers le bas depuis la zone de réception. Chacun des pieds (14, 16, 18) comporte une base (20, 22, 24) s'étendant horizontalement vers l'extérieur. La zone de réception (12) et la pluralité de pieds (14, 16, 18) sont formés intégralement dans un matériau polymère. La section horizontale et la section parabolique ont une configuration cruciforme. Chacun des pieds (14, 16, 18) a une section transversale rectangulaire dans un plan horizontal. Sur la section horizontale de la zone de réception (12) est moulée une marque d'identification numérique indiquant la distance entre une partie supérieure de la section horizontale et une partie inférieure de la base (20, 22, 24). La base (20, 22, 24) d'un des pieds de la pluralité de pieds séparés (14, 16, 18) comporte une surface supérieure sur laquelle est moulée une marque d'identification numérique. La marque d'identification de la section horizontale de la zone de réception est orientée dans un sens différent de celle de la base (20, 22, 24).
