Disadvantages of a conventional chair (table etc...): the pressure per square centimetre on the floor is high, we have the tendency to drag the chair on the floor (which is noisy) to move it by rising only slightly; the floor becomes damaged. The pivoting base eliminates these disadvantages and brings additional advantages. The chair legs (1) are inserted at the extremity of the 4 parts (9). Two circular bases (3 and 4) are tied together by a rotation joint located at the center of the bases. The top base (3) ROTATES on the bottom base (4) (which does not rotate) thanks to ball bearings (5) arranged in a circle between the two bases (along the circumference). This allows the seated person to rotate towards another person without the risk of damaging the floor (2) and quietly. The feature of the bottom base includes 3 wheels (6) arranged in a triangle under the base. These wheels are equipped with compression springs (7). When no one is seated, it is easy to move the chair (without noise) thanks to the wheels that have come out. When a person sits down, the wheels enter the lower base. The lower base rests on the floor, with a very low pressure per square centimetre since the area of the circular base is very large, in contrast to the 4 legs of the chair. Therefore, no damage to the floor and no noise.
