Abstract of the Disclosure The armrest carrier can be secured to the seat frame or to the seat in two different positions on a chair with arm- rests which can be adjusted on an armrest carrier. It can be assembled either in a slightly backward or forward slant position. These different assembly positions correspond to two different spacings of the front or back end of the arm support region to the front edge of the seat.
