It is intended to provide a means of preventing Chalkbrood disease which is safe to honeybees and remains efficacious over a long period of time. A preventive for Chalkbrood disease, which comprises a mixture prepared by mixing an isothiocyanic acid ester with an organic acid triglyceride and/or a rosin compound and a support carrying the mixture, is provided in a beehive or around it.
