A chamber arrangement suitable in particular as a building element for light constructions has first mutually spaced, hollow wall segments subjected to an over-pressure which extend over the whole thickness of the wall. A part of the intermediate spaces between the first wall segments which begins at the outer side of the wall is filled with second hollow wall segments subjected to an over-pressure and linked to the first wall segments. Another part of the intermediate spaces between the first wall segments is closed by a wall which forms a bridge between the first wall segments at their ends next to the inner side of the wall and is subjected to a negative pressure.
