ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention relates to an improved chamber for forming continuous ring furnaces of the Hoffman type, characterized in that it comprises a thinner outer building structure that is more economical and durable; joining elements and base elements for the hollow partitions which operate as interconnecting, positioning and spacing elements; fire pits having a building structure formed by vertical elements independent of each other and having a tapered shape; a base provided with an improved cooling system making the thermal field of said chamber independent of the nature of the underlying ground; a bottom cavity having an aerodynamic profile that allows the gas flow to be flow-dynamically improved; an upper ridge having a new structure and a cover allowing a movement of the gas flow fluid flow patterns that is free from turbulence; and, means mounted on said cover and said upper ridge adapted to assure the gas tightness.
