ABSTRACT RETRACTABLE CHAMFERING TOOL The Chamfering Tool as shown in Drawing CT-004 features a retractable cutting edge which allows protection of the cutting edge when not cutting metal. The replaceable carbide tip is used for the cutting edge and in fact the carbide tip has two (2) cutting edges which doubles the life of the single carbide tip. The Outer Guide also forms the guide or centralising feature of the cutting tool.
