A system for changing the service profile of a mobile subscriber includes a location part (31), an evaluation part (32) and a subscriber connection exchange part (33). Besides these, the home location register contains such indi-vidual subscriber connections for the subscriber, which have a different service profile. The duty of the location part is to find out the location of the mobile station in the network and to give location information to the evaluation part. The information may be e.g. a location area iden-tity, cell identity or switching centre area identity which is used in the public land mobile network. The evaluation part checks to find out whether the location information has changed compared with the location information received earlier. If it has, it searches the memory for the cor-responding location information and compares the connection information in the record with the current connection information. If the con-nection information is identical, the process re-mains waiting for new location information. If the connection information is different, the eval-uation logic deduces that the connection must be exchanged for a new one and a connection ex-change operation must be started. This may take place so that the connection exchange part dis-connects the mobile station from the network and reconnects to the network using a new MSISDN number. The algorithms and encryption keys relating to this number it fetches from the memory. The network fetches from the home location register the subscriber information relating to this MSISDN number and along with this also the service profile relating to this number. It is most advantageous to implement the location part, the evaluation part and the subscriber connection exchange part on the subscriber identity module (SIM).
L'invention concerne un système permettant de changer le profil de service d'un abonné mobile, comportant une partie de localisation (31), une partie d'évaluation (32) et une partie de changement de connexion d'abonné (33). En outre, l'enregistreur de positions de rattachement comporte des connexions d'abonné individuelles destinées à l'abonné, et qui ont un profil de service différent. La tâche de la partie de localisation est de déterminer la position de la station mobile dans le réseau et de fournir des informations de position à la partie d'évaluation. Ces informations peuvent par exemple être un identificateur de zone de localisation, un identificateur de cellule ou un identificateur de zone de centre de commutation utilisés dans le réseau mobile terrestre public. La partie d'évaluation vérifie si les informations de position ont changé par rapport aux informations de position reçues auparavant. Si c'est le cas, elle recherche dans la mémoire les informations de position correspondantes et compare les informations de connexion de l'enregistreur, aux informations de connexion en cours. Si les informations de connexion sont identiques, le processus reste en attente d'une nouvelle information de localisation. Si les informations de connexion sont différentes, la logique d'évaluation en déduit que la connexion doit être changée pour une nouvelle et qu'il faut lancer une opération de changement de connexion. Ceci peut se faire de manière que la partie de changement de connexion déconnecte la station mobile du réseau et la reconnecte au réseau en utilisant un nouveau numéro MSISDN. Il extrait de la mémoire les algorithmes et les clés de cryptage associés au numéro. Le réseau extrait de l'enregistreur de positions de rattachement, des informations d'abonné associées à ce numéro MSISDN, ainsi que le profil de service associé à ce numéro. Le plus avantageux est de mettre en oeuvre la partie de localisation, la partie d'évaluation et la partie de changement de connexion d'abonné sur le module d'identification d'abonné (SIM).
