A change-over separating filter features a housing with an inlet hole and two outlet holes discharging into a central chamber housing a pivoted valve piston in the form of a rotary slide valve. The rotary piston is non-rotatably connected with an operating lever outside of the housing. The connection is a plug and socket connection containing several coupling settings between valve piston and operating lever.
