After a base station has specified, via a downlink control channel or traffic channel, the channel on which a mobile station located in its area should measure the received level, and the mobile station has received a measurement instruction, the mobile station uses the received level measurement function commonly possessed by a mobile station to measure the received level of the specified channel, and reports the results to the base station via an uplink control channel or traffic channel. This enables an existing cellular system to be utilized as a first mobile communication system, and makes it possible to construct a second mobile communication system in the same area as the service area of this first system.
La présente invention concerne un système mobile de communications radio dans lequel une station de base appelle une station mobile de son secteur en passant par un canal de contrôle descendant ou un canal de communication pour désigner un canal dont le champ électrique doit être mesuré. La station mobile mesure le champ électrique du canal désigné en utilisant sa propre fonction de mesure des champs électriques et elle envoie les résultats à la station de base par un canal de contrôle montant ou par le canal de communication.
