ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A channel programing apparatus having first and second tuners, an image reproducing device, a recording and reproducing device and a timer. In this case, when the timer is in its set state the output signal from the first tuner is fed to the image reproducing device while the second tuner is made in such a state to select a predetermined channel. When a set time of the timer arrives, the signal applied to the image reproducing device is switched from the output signal of the first tuner to that of the second tuner by the signal derived from the timer.
