There is disclosed an optical device for dispersion compensation of channels within a predetermined wavelength band, comprising: a waveguid-ing structure; and a grating structure formed in said waveguiding structure; characterized in that said grating structure has a Bragg frequency profile that is divided into contiguous periods, wherein the Bragg frequencies within each period vary between a lower Bragg frequency and an upper Bragg frequency, said lower and upper Bragg frequencies for each period both corresponding to wavelengths outside of said predetermined wavelength band.

Dispositif optique de compensation de dispersion de canaux à l'intérieur d'une bande de longueurs d'onde prédéterminée comprenant une structure de guidage d'onde et une structure réseau formée dans la structure de guidage d'onde. Le profil de fréquences Bragg de la structure de guidage d'onde est divisé en périodes contigües. Les fréquences de Bragg de chaque période varient entre une fréquence de Bragg basse et une fréquence de Bragg élevée. Pour chaque période, ces fréquences correspondent à des longueurs d'ondes situées en dehors de la bande de longueurs d'onde prédéterminée.
