The present invention provides a hydrophilic charged microporous membrane comprising a porous hydrophobic substrate and a coating comprising a charge- providing agent. The present invention further provides a hydrophilic charged membrane comprising a porous hydrophobic substrate and a hydrophilic charge- providing agent distributed within the substrate. The present invention further provides a filter as well as a filter device comprising the inventive hydrophilic charged membrane. The present invention further provides a process for treating a fluid containing bacterial contaminants such as endotoxins comprising contacting the membrane with the fluid to provide a bacterial contaminant depleted fluid.
La présente invention concerne une membrane microporeuse hydrophile chargée comprenant un substrat poreux hydrophobe et un revêtement comportant un agent d'alimentation en charge. L'invention concerne également une membrane chargée comportant un substrat poreux hydrophobe et un agent d'alimentation en charge hydrophile réparti au sein du substrat. L'invention concerne en outre un filtre et un dispositif de filtre comprenant la membrane chargée selon l'invention. Enfin, l'invention concerne un procédé de traitement d'un fluide contenant des agents de contamination bactérienne telles des endotoxines qui consiste à mettre en contact la membrane avec le fluide en vue d'obtenir un fluide exempt d'agents de contamination bactérienne.
