A temperature-compensated constant voltage battery charging algorithm charges batteries quickly and safely. Charging algorithms also include methods to recondition batteries after storage and to correct cell imbalances in a battery pack. A battery charger able to perform these functions is also disclosed.

L'invention concerne un algorithme de charge de batterie à tension constante avec compensation de température permettant de charger des batteries de manière sûre et rapide. Des algorithmes de charge comportent également des procédés pour reconditionner des batteries après stockage, et pour corriger des déséquilibres de cellules dans un bloc de batteries. Un chargeur de batterie pouvant remplir ces fonctions est également décrit.
