Abstract A fodder for ruminant containing hydrolyzed ligno-cellulosic materials and urea. Most of this urea is under nitrogen slowrelease form. The fodder is prepared by hydrolyzing, straw, bagasse or other ligno-cellulosic by products with diluted acid and, subsequently, condensing said hydrolyzed material with urea.
