A chef jacket with a utility knife sheath, including a chef jacket having a front having an outer surface and an inner surface, a top, and an opening on the front below the top of the chef jacket. A utility knife is provided, the utility knife having a blade, a handle, and a tip of the blade. A magnetic utility knife sheath is adapted to receive the blade of the utility knife, the utility knife sheath being removably attached to the inner surface of the front adjacent to the opening such that, when the blade is inserted through the opening and received by the utility knife sheath, the tip of the blade of the utility knife is substantially directed toward the top of the chef jacket and the handle is positioned against the outer surface of the front of the chef jacket.
