The invention relates to a novel composition useful as a feed at production of chlorine dioxide, said composition being an aqueous solution comprising from about 1 to about 6.5 moles/litre of alkali metal chlorate, from about 1 to about 7 moles/litre of hydrogen peroxide and at least one of a protective colloid, a radical scavenger or a phosphonic acid based complexing agent, wherein the pH of the aqueous solution is from about 1 to about 4. The invention also concerns a process for producing chlorine dioxide using the novel composition.

L'invention concerne une nouvelle composition utile comme apport lors de la production de bioxyde de chlore. Cette composition est une solution aqueuse contenant environ 1 à environ 6.5 moles/litre de chlorate de métal alcalin, environ 1 à environ 7 moles/litre de péroxyde d'hydrogène et au moins un colloïde de protection, un capteur de radical ou un acide phosphonique à base de complexant. Le pH de la solution aqueuse est d'environ 1 à environ 4. L'invention concerne également un procédé de production de bioxyde de chlore à l'aide de cette nouvelle composition.
