A chemical composition of matter comprising a wax plasticizing agent (plasticizer) tributoxyethyl phosphate, a mixture of selected long chain fatty acids (preferably C10 to C22), and a mixture of selected low-surface tension surfactants, which when added in solution to crude oil or refined products has been shown to lower both the B.S. & W. (rag layer) and the coefficient of friction of crude oils and refined products. This chemical composition of matter is particularly useful as a wax liquefaction, dispersant, and solubilization agent for asphaltene and paraffins in crude oil and refined products. The reduction in the co-efficient of friction resulting from the addition of this product to crude oil will allow crude oil to pump through pipelines with a minimum amount of resistance due to friction (drag).
La présente invention se rapporte à une composition chimique de matière, qui contient un phosphate de tributoxyéthyle servant d'agent plastifiant de cire (plastifiant), un mélange d'acides gras à chaîne longue sélectionnés (de préférence C10 à C22), et un mélange de tensioactifs à faible tension superficielle sélectionnés, qui, lorsqu'ils sont ajoutés en solution à du pétrole brut ou à des produits raffinés, ont pour effet de faire baisser aussi bien la teneur en eau et sédiments (couche de roche dure) que le coefficient de frottement du pétrole brut et des produits raffinés. Ladite composition chimique de matière est particulièrement utile en tant qu'agent de liquéfaction de cire, d'agent dispersant, et d'agent de solubilisation pour les asphaltènes et les paraffines contenus dans le pétrole brut et les produits raffinés. La réduction du coefficient de frottement provoquée par l'ajout dudit produit à du pétrole brut permet le pompage du pétrole brut au travers de pipelines, avec un degré minimal de résistance due au frottement (traînée).
