ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Compounds of the formula (II) are disclosed: Image (II) wherein R1 is a chlorine or bromine atom or a methoxyl, methylthio or C1-4 alkyl group; R2 is a group such that R2C02H is a pharmaceutically acceptable acid of up to 12 carbon atoms; n is 1 or 2; and the dotted line represents a optional double bond. These compounds are useful for their anti-inflammatory properties. Methods of preparation of the compounds are also disclosed.
