The present invention relates to a chemical luminescence- detecting apparatus in which the intensity of chemical luminescence generated in a photometric cell is detected by means of an optical detector. The apparatus is provided with a plurality of optical detectors of different sensitivities in the vicinity of the photometric cell and the ratio of outputs from the optical detectors for the same sample concentrations is initially determined by taking measurements from standard sample solutions. When used for measuring unknown sample solutions, the outputs from low sensitivity optical detectors are multiplied by a factor determined by the previously determined ratio so that the converted output signals from the low sensitivity detectors are made the same as the output signals from the high intensity detectors would be for the same concentrations but for the saturation. In this way, low sensitivity detectors can be used when the high sensitivity detectors are saturated but the output signals from both low and high sensitivity detectors can be processed and displayed in the same way.
