A model for the study of HIV-I associated dendritic pathology, comprising a) contacting a hippocampal slice with platelet-activating factor; and b) stimulating the hippocampal slice of a) with high frequency stimulation.
Procédé de prévention de pathologie dendritique associée au VIH-I dans une cellule nerveuse, par contact entre la cellule et une quantité thérapeutiquement efficace d'agoniste vis-à-vis de canal potassium sensible à l'ATP mitochondrienne. Procédé ayant le même but, par contact entre la cellule et une quantité thérapeutiquement efficace d'inhibiteur de succinate déshydrogénase. Enfin, procédé ayant le même but, par contact entre la cellule et une quantité thérapeutiquement efficace de stimulateur de production d'espèce réactive de l'oxygène. Enfin, modèle pour l'étude de la pathologie considérée, a) par contact entre une tranche hippocampique avec un facteur d'activation plaquettaire, et b) stimulation de la tranche mentionnée en a) par une stimulation haute fréquence.
