Chemically stable, insecticidally active pellets having a low moisture content and at least about 95 % active ingredient are described, as well as a method for manufacturing them. The active ingredient is selected from a class of N-hydrocarboyl phosphoroamidothioate and phosphoroamidodithioate compounds as described in the specification. The pellets generally have a moisture content of about 0.5 % by weight or less, preferably less than about 0.3 % by weight. The pellets can be produced by one of two types of processes as described in detail, including a high pressure axial extrusion process and a low pressure basket extrusion process.

Cette invention se rapporte à des granulés dotés d'une activité insecticide et chimiquement stables, qui ont une faible teneur en humidité et comportent au moins 95 % environ d'un ingrédient actif, ainsi qu'à un procédé de fabrication de ces granulés. L'ingrédient actif est sélectionné dans une classe de composés à base de N-hydrocarboyl phosphoroamidothioates et phosphoroamidodithioates, décrits dans le descriptif de l'invention. Lesdits granulés possèdent généralement une teneur en humidité inférieure ou égale à 0,5 % environ en poids, de préférence inférieure à 0,3 % environ en poids. On peut fabriquer ces granulés selon l'un des deux procédés décrits dans le descriptif, notamment selon un procédé d'extrusion axiale à forte pression et un procédé d'extrusion par tamis à basse pression.
