CHEMILUMINESCENT SIGNAL GENERATING REAGENT COMPOSITION CONTAINING AN AZIDE, TEST KIT AND IMMUNOASSAY USING SAME Abstract of the Disclosure A chemiluminescent signal generating composition has been prepared which contains a chemiluminescent substrate (such as luminol), a chemiluminescent enhancer and from about 0.001 to about 0.01%, but weight, of an inorganic azide, such as sodium azide. This composition is very useful in immunoassays for correcting signal decay over a period of time.
