A chest of drawers includes a body having at least one opening adapted to receive a drawer. A drawer is positioned in the at least one opening. The drawer is movable between an open position in which access may be obtained to an interior the drawer and a closed position. The drawer is adapted to accommodate a suitcase. This includes shallow sides extending for only a portion of a height of the drawer. The shallow sides facilitate the insertion of the suitcase into the drawer and the removable of the suitcase from the drawer. This also includes full extension of the drawer in the open position. The full extension facilitates the closure of the suitcase being opened to 90 degrees to access the contents of the suitcase, without removing the suitcase from the drawer.
