ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A closure assembly for a container with a reversible spout for dispensing or storage and having easily manipulated finger grips for assembly and disassembly and releasable locking tabs for resisting disassembly by children. The dispensing spout includes a special base configuration which allows the locking tabs to be effective in resisting disassembly in either position of the spout. Integral lip seal means affords a positive seal- ing of relevant elements.
