A child training system including a doll having a soft, hollow compressible leg reservoir; a hollow torso; a head formed with a mouth orifice into which liquid can be introduced; and a liquid discharge orifice containing a supply assembly of tubing and a check valve disposed so as to supply liquid to the leg reservoir. The leg has an inlet to receive the liquid and an outlet with a check valve for equalizing pressure in the reservoir with the surrounding atmosphere, and a means for enabling the flow of liquid from the leg reservoir to the discharge orifice when the leg is squeezed or pumped.
