Chimeric respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) polypeptide antigens are provided. The disclosed polypeptides include a first amino acid sequence comprising an F2 domain uncleavably joined to an F1 domain of a Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) Fusion (F) protein polypeptide; and a second amino acid sequence comprising a portion of an RSV Attachment (G) protein polypeptide comprising an immunologically dominant epitope. The disclosure also provides nucleic acids that encode, and phar-maceutical compositions that contain, the chimeric RSV polypeptides, as well as methods for their production and use.
L'invention porte sur des antigènes polypeptidiques chimériques du virus respiratoire syncytial (VRS). Les polypeptides de l'invention comprennent une première séquence d'acides aminés qui comporte un domaine F2 uni de façon non clivable à un domaine F1 d'un polypeptide de protéine de fusion (F) du virus respiratoire syncytial (VRS), et une seconde séquence d'acides aminés qui comporte une partie d'un polypeptide de protéine de fixation (G) du VRS comportant un épitope immunologiquement dominant. L'invention porte également sur des acides nucléiques qui codent pour les polypeptides chimériques du VRS et sur des compositions pharmaceutiques qui les contiennent, ainsi que sur des procédés pour leur fabrication et leur utilisation.
