ABSTRACT Method for constructing a chimney, the load-bearing external trunk of which is built in sliding or climbing shuttering and suports platforms which, being provided with support arms, serve for accommodating a flue gas pipe or pipes, characterised in that support elements are formed on the inner wall of the external trunk at planned levels of the platforms and that the platforms are completely built within the external trunk at ground level, are raised to the respective levels by means of lifting equipment and-are then connected with the support elements and a chimney constructed in accordance with this method.
