It is a known fact that outside, low atmospheric pressure can cause a downdraft at the house chimney and the present invention, the "CHIMNEY DRAFT RE-STABILIZER" will combat this downdraft and permit to light up the heating system without filling the room full of smoke and within a few minutes, proper draft is re-established as chimney warms up, then the said re-stabilizer is pushed back into position, without causing any obstruction inside the smoke pipe nor to decrease it inside diameter.
