A chimney sealing cap has a standard cap and a one-piece crown. The single- piece crown is directly attached to a chimney casing. The crown has a hole through which passes a chimney pipe. Mechanical fasteners are use to secure the single-piece crown onto the chimney casing and the standard cap is slipped over and fastened onto the single-piece crown using mechanical fasteners.

L'invention concerne une coiffe de cheminée étanche munie d'une coiffe standard et d'une couronne monobloc. La couronne monobloc est directement fixée à un conduit de cheminée et présente un trou à travers lequel passe un tuyau de cheminée. Des organes de fixation mécaniques sont utilisés pour fixer la couronne monobloc au conduit de cheminée. La coiffe standard est amenée à glisser sur la couronne à laquelle la coiffe est fixée au moyen d'organes de fixation mécaniques.
