73738-2 ABSTRACT A unique transport unit and cover assembly having a partial roof and open sides is disclosed. A flexible cover assem- bly or tarp depends from each side of a central main roof beam. One cover is adapted to cover the right top roof portion and right side and, the other cover, the left top roof portion and left side of the unit. The covers of the present invention are adapted to be rolled upwardly up the open side and inwardly along the roof by means of horizontally disposed rollers. These are affixed to the entire length of the cover at a place approximately mid-way up the open side, thereby allowing for double folding when the roller is rotated. The transport unit cover assembly of the present inven- tion allows loading from both sides as well as from the top by means of an overhead crane. Removable side posts allow cargo to be swung inwardly through the plurality of roof trusses which are attached to the main beam. The rear wall is also equipped with doors offering another option for loading and unloading.
